About Healthium Platform
Telehealth Broadband, LLC has developed a communications platform called Healthium. Healthium is a tool for healthcare providers to remotely monitor and communicate with patients at home. Effective communications leads to improved patient outcomes and reduced healthcare costs. Through the integration of telemedicine technologies, broadband networks, and interactive television concepts, Healthium provides an interactive health platform using the Healthium Settop appliance, the patient's television, available FDA Class II monitoring devices and two-way video communications. Patients are not required to have a PC or Internet access. Telehealth Broadband works with local cable and telephone companies for Internet connectivity for Healthium service.
